Bald Eagle Fight In Winter by kl61 Bald Eagle Fight In Winter by kl61
Eagles Don't Play well with others it seems. One is less than 3 years old, thats why it doesn't have the white head

Shot with a Nikon D1X
Lens Nikon 600 mm

Wonderful shot Kendall! Great timing. I can't help but think how it'd look if you were about 3' lower and shot at f/5.6. It is amazing though!

Amazing action shot. I wish the rest of the second eagle was in the picture, but with birds in motion that kind of thing can't be helped. Still deserving of a +fav!

Also: lock up your camera/lens somewhere safe. I share vividlilac's lens envy.

What an amazing capture! You are very lucky! Great job with the focus and exposure, too bad you weren't able to get both birds fully in the frame, but a small nit for such a great scene :)

600mm... I have lens envy

Wow, that's something you don't see everyday! Great action shot. I've only seen one Bald Eagle in the wild since I started birding recently, but I couldn't get a good picture.
