Artist's Comments

We were building a road through the woods at work when I found this strange spider. Everyone who looked close at this crab shell spider backed up quick slapping at the back of their neck. I said "what the hell is wrong with you ?" They all said that they thought they felt something crawling on them. It must have gave them the willies to look at this. After a few minuets I did it too

This is amazing, but... where did the spyder find that shell?? :o If you weren't in the woods I would think this is an hermit crab!

Sweden? I LOVE YOUR FOOD!!! GIMME!!! :yum:

...Eehm, sorry ^^;

The shell is part of it's body. (i knew you were joking) it is a very pretty and soft body part of the spider. it looks hard but it isn't. at first, i only seen one of them. then after a few minuets I seen them all over the place in this area.

thanks for commenting

actualy this spider is very small. about 1/3 of the size of the hole in the center of a standard CD
:iconflammchen:
Joking? I was not :blush: again, amazing! I've never seen a spider like that before :jawdrop: such an interesting photo!
:iconchargen:
Woah, be careful the spider doesn't jump on your eye!

Please revert back to the pictures of birds and other less icky natural creatures.. ;-)
